We invite all IS Junior Faculty to apply to participate in the Junior Faculty Consortium. The Junior Faculty Consortium is open to all Junior Faculty that are AIS members. It will consist of panels, discussions, and interactive sessions built around issues related to becoming an inspired, responsible and successful senior member of the Academy. A select group of senior IS faculty from universities around the world will serve as mentors to the participants. Each participant will have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of both new and senior faculty and to share their experiences, thoughts, and concerns about developing a career in the Academy.
We look forward to receiving your ECIS 2021 Junior Faculty Consortium applications!

Goals of The Consortium
We hope to have an inclusive consortium that represents the interests, priorities and distinctiveness of AIS Region 2 working in a global community. The consortium will support attendees to help build helpful professional and career relationships, learn about publishing in different kinds of journals, understand the kinds of impact that they can make within and outside the Academy, plan a career trajectory, achieve excellence while maintaining character, and overall, take an informed and alert approach to building an academic career in information systems. For those applying from African universities, please contact the chairs in case of financial difficulties.
Eligible faculty includes all AIS members within their first five years in an academic position post Ph.D (including post-doc positions). The number of participants is limited to 30, in order to maintain the richness and depth of the experience.
Participation in the Consortium is free. But you are required to register for the ECIS conference.
You can apply to participate by sending an email to email@example.com the following details in an attached document of maximum two pages – single spaced or more, Times new Roman 12.
